Wilde Stein’s pride flag, which it raised on the Mall on Wednesday after Election Day, was stolen from its flagpole sometime between then and Monday.
The flag was found attached to the Beta Theta Pi fraternity sign on Monday. The president of Beta returned it Monday, who told Zachary Knox, president of Wilde Stein, that he was not the thief.
Knox theorized a person likely got drunk and stole the flag as a prank. The flag was returned to its home on the Mall on Monday afternoon. Knox said the price for a replacement flag would have been $87, including shipping.
