A new state law banning texting while driving went into effect this week. Broadcast journalist Kylie Keene gets candid responses from University of Maine students about a habit one calls an “addiction,” and UMaine Police Chief Roland LaCroix says texting while driving may be most dangerous on campus, though his department hasn’t punished anyone for breaking the law.
