Gibbs went 3-4 with an 8.40 ERA for UMaine this past season, leading the team in strikeouts with 56. Gibbs’ standout game this season was a 10-0 victory over the State University of New York-Albany during the regular season.

Perakslis went 5-5 for the Black Bears in 2012 with an ERA of 3.14, 14 starts, 87 and one-third innings pitched and 19 walks, all team bests. Perakslis won a start against the SUNY-Albany during the 2012 America East playoffs.
