Dark times
UMPD received a report at 12:56 a.m. Oct. 12 of criminal mischief outside of the President’s House. Two light posts were knocked down, and due to the chance of a short circuit, it is possible the posts became electrified. Another post was knocked down over the weekend and the estimated cost to repair them is $5,000 each, or $15,000 total. There are no suspects and the matter is under investigation.

Drugs and suds with buds
UMPD received a report at 8:07 p.m. Oct. 17 of a drug complaint on the second floor of Knox Hall. An odor of marijuana was reported, officers were dispatched and the odor was determined to come from a single room. Officers found a glass pipe with unburned marijuana and a 30 pack of Bud Light, all of which was seized and destroyed. Two non-student males, 18 and 19, were given criminal trespass notices and asked to leave campus. Student Jeanna Lowery, 19, was summonsed for possession of marijuana and possession of alcohol by a minor. Student Francesca Pasquali, 18, was summonsed for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Glasshole
UMPD received a report at 1 p.m. Oct. 13 of criminal mischief at Cumberland Hall. The glass of the south door was broken sometime between 12:30 and 1 a.m. The matter is under investigation.
Whisky a no no
A UMPD officer reported at 12:23 a.m. Oct. 14 of sounds of distress from the third floor bathroom of Cumberland Hall while on patrol. Student Bradley Bartlett, 18, was discovered in an intoxicated state and found to possess whisky and 12 cans of Bud Light, which was seized and destroyed. Bartlett was summonsed for possession of alcohol by a minor.
Sheetrock bottom
UMPD received a report at 12:41 pm. Oct. 13 of damage on the second floor of Hancock Hall. A hole was kicked in the sheetrock wall. The matter is currently under investigation.
Drunk on knowledge
UMPD received a report at 12:41 a.m. Oct. 12 of an intoxicated male on the Mall in front of Fogler Library. A female student, 18, was transported by UVAC to Eastern Maine Medical Center.
Overdose and adios
UMPD received a report at 1:56 p.m. Oct. 13 of an alcohol overdose on College Ave. near the Chi Omega house. A male student, 21, was transported by UVAC.
Dirty thirty
UMPD received a report at 11:30 p.m. Oct. 11 of an alcohol offense in the lobby of Estabrooke Hall. Two 30 packs of beer were seized and destroyed. A male student, 18, was referred to Judicial Affairs.
Sorry for party rockin’
UMPD received a report at 1:10 a.m. Oct. 14 of a loud party on the second floor of Oxford Hall. A male student, 18, was referred to conduct for possession of alcohol by a minor.
