Good for Thomas Mooney to recognize Angus King for the slick talking snake-oil salesman he is and to point out what Independence Wind did in Roxbury. Angus King is responsible for destroying Flathead Mt. and Partridge Peak, blasting away and leveling millions of cubic yards of the mountains to put up wind turbines that had output of only 15% of their capacity in the 3rd quarter of this year.

For this pathetic output, the company got $33.7 milion ARRA Sec. 1603 grant. When King was involved, they used his influence and got a $102 million loan guarantee from the Federal government. With such poor output and the low market price for electricity due to the price of natural gas, Independence Wind will likely not have the cash flow to pay it's debt and we, the taxpayers, will be stuck with the bill. So, that means $135.7 from the taxpayers for Angus King's folly.
Angus King is a scoundrel and you UMaine students who want green power are delusionary lemmings to follow him. Do they teach any economics or physics at UMaine any more or just "green" ideology?

Student debt is stunting the growth of the economy. Student loans have increased by 275% over past decade. As the next generation graduates from college, they are plagued by insurmountable debt that places demands on their income, limiting their ability to spend their earnings in ways that stimulate the economy.
