Around noon, a theft complaint was filed from the Alpha Delta chapter room in Somerset Hall after the group reported that a bag containing $200 to $400 in chapter dues had been stolen. Since the chapter room is in the basement of a residence hall, RAs are able to let people in using their access cards. However, RAs told UMPD they hadn’t let anyone outside the group into the room recently. There are currently no suspects.

At 9 p.m., UMPD received a complaint referencing a “Yik Yak” post about a potential party at Beta Theta Pi. UMPD forwarded the report to Greek Life, as they routinely share information about fraternity or sorority activity but do not keep records of organizations’ party restrictions. Since the complaint was sent to Greek Life, UMPD marked the matter resolved.
