At 5:20 a.m. the University of Maine Police Department (UMPD) responded to a property damage report near Hitchner Hall. There were no injuries, but vehicles were damaged.



At 12:20 a.m. UMPD and the Old Town Fire Department arrived at the fraternity house Sigma Alpha Lambda after a fire alarm was sounded. However, it appeared to be a malfunction.

At 3:15 p.m. officers received a report of a stolen bike at Hilltop. The bike is valued at $60.

At 4 p.m. UMPD and the University Volunteer Ambulance Corps (UVAC) received a medical call from the Cutler Health Center. UVAC later transported a patient to the hospital.



At 12:15 a.m. officers responded to a medical call at Oxford Hall after a person fell in the bathroom. The individual sustained a head wound and was transported to the hospital.

At 2:11 a.m. custodial staff reported subjects on the roof of Bennett Hall. When officers arrived, the group fled.

At 12:10 p.m. UMPD received a report of a possibly intoxicated bus driver after people observed him walking. However, the bus driver has a medical condition that causes him to walk abnormally, and the claim was unfounded.



At 8:08 a.m. officers received a report of theft from the Phi Gamma Delta parking lot. Someone stole one of the residence’s golf clubs, worth $2,500.

At 4:08 p.m. UMPD and UVAC arrived at the Donald P. Corbett Business Building after someone fainted, but the individual refused transport.



At 1:19 p.m. officers received a report of property damage in the Collins Center for the Arts parking lot.

At 8:50 p.m. UMPD arrived at Somerset Hall after receiving a noise complaint from Campus Eyes. The student cooperated and was issued a warning.

At 11:30 p.m. officers stopped two males at Hilltop after noticing the pair sitting in their vehicle with the lights on for a prolonged period of time. When the officer knocked on the car window, he smelled marijuana. The students were referred to conduct.
