The Maine Campus is building a new way to easily access more than 150 years of student journalism at the University of Maine. Drawing on historical issues preserved and digitized by the University of Maine’s Special Collections Department at Fogler Library, the archive makes generations of our newspaper easier to discover and explore through our website.
Current print editions released throughout the 2026-27 academic year will be uploaded to our Weekly Print page.

Get Involved: Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer projects may include:
- Finding, securing and uploading missing issues from our 151-year history to our website and internal digital archive, as well as submitting scans for preservation through Fogler Library’s independent archive
- Identifying, capturing and organizing historical photographs and illustrations for our internal archive and website
