This is the Maine Day Episode. Since 1935, The University of Maine has observed a responsibility-free day of service and fun, typically held on the final Wednesday of each spring semester. Follow along with Kate, Maddy, and Rebekah as we chat with UMaine students from the 8:15am wake-up parade, to service activities on the mall, to the infamous Maine Day parties at off-campus apartment complexes. Thank you for listening, over and out. Music featured: A Maine Day Volunteer Band playing Hand Claps by Fitz and the Tantrums. Students singing Opie: the University of Maine Stein Song, composed by E.A Fenstad.
Hosted by Kate Fogg, Rebekah Sands, and Maddy Gernhard. Graphics by Delaney Burns.
