At 6:15 a.m. the University of Maine Police Department (UMPD) received a report of a scam involving the sale of a cell phone. The officer resolved the incident.

At 1 a.m. officers arrived at Penobscot Hall after receiving a medical call. The subject refused transport.
At 1:40 a.m. a homeless, intoxicated individual on College Avenue contacted UMPD for help getting back to Bangor. The individual was gone by the time officers arrived.
At 2 a.m. UMPD responded to a noise complaint at Penobscot Hall. Two subjects had been screaming at each other but were gone upon the officers’ arrival.
At 8:15 a.m. officers received a report of theft for a stolen exit sign on the third floor of Knox Hall.
At 9:30 a.m. UMPD responded to a criminal mischief report. Someone smashed the ceiling tiles on the third floor of Cumberland Hall resulting in $250 worth of damages.
At 10:15 a.m. UMPD responded with the University Volunteer Ambulance Corps (UVAC) in Hilltop Lot. The subject was transported to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center.
At 1:15 p.m. officers received a medical call at the football game after an individual collapsed. UVAC transported the person to Eastern Maine Medical Center.
At 2:45 p.m. UMPD received a vehicle damage report on College Avenue.
At 8:20 p.m. officers arrived at Knox Hall after receiving a property damage report for a fallen exit sign. However, there was no damage, and the officer was able to fix the situation by putting it back in place.

At 1 a.m. UMPD and UVAC arrived at the Alfond Arena parking lot after receiving a report of an intoxicated female that needed medical evaluation. The subject was transported by ambulance to the hospital.
At 2 a.m. officers responded to what was reported as an assault on College Avenue. Upon investigation they determined no assault had taken place. The parties were separated and sent on their way.
At 6:30 a.m. officers received a report of an abandoned vehicle in the intersection of Long Road and College Avenue. After some time the owner returned and notified the officers that they were out of gas.
At 4:32 p.m. someone stole a license plate off a car in the Stodder Hall parking lot. The investigation is ongoing.
At 8 p.m. UMPD and UVAC responded to the New Balance Student Recreation Center for a male subject who had a possible broken nose. The person was evaluated and refused transport to the hospital.

At 1:45 a.m. officers arrived at Kennebec Hall for a loud noise complaint. The individuals were warned and referred to conduct.
At 2 p.m. UMPD received a report of someone smoking marijuana in their car in the Aroostook Hall parking lot. The person was gone when officers arrived.

At midnight UMPD and UVAC responded to Oxford Hall for a female subject that felt unwell. After evaluation the individual refused transport.
At 7:30 a.m. an officer took a report of a suspicious male at Witter Farm. The person turned out to be a contractor working in the area who did not realize the farm was not open to the public at that hour.
At 9:30 a.m. UMPD and UVAC arrived at the Memorial Union for a medical emergency. The subject had fallen down and injured their knee. The person was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital.
At noon officers took a report of vehicle damage in the Collins Center for the Arts (CCA) parking lot.
At 4:21 p.m. UMPD received a report of a hunter in the woods near the corn fields on Route 2. Officers determined that the person was just off UMaine’s property, so there was no violation.
At 6:09 p.m. officers took a report of a stolen bicycle at Hart Hall.

8:38 a.m. UMPD received a report of a burglary of a motor vehicle on Connecticut Street. This incident is an ongoing investigation.
At 10:12 a.m. UMPD and UVAC arrived at Bennett Hall for a medical call. The subject was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital.
At 10:34 a.m. officers took a property damage motor vehicle accident report from Nutting Hall.
At 11 a.m. UMPD responded to a report of an uncooperative female on the bus. The off-campus subject was trying to get a ride to the town of Sebec. It appears she got on the wrong bus. Officers provided assistance with getting her a ride back to the Bangor bus station.
At 11 a.m. officers took another vehicle damage report from the CCA lot.
At noon officers arrived at Somerset Hall for a report of domestic violence. A male subject was arrested, charged with domestic violence assault and transported to the Penobscot County Jail.
At 2:30 p.m. a subject fell at York Hall and was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital.

At 11:38 a.m. officers received a report of vandalism to a car in the Stodder parking lot. The individual reported that their windshield wipers had been stolen off their vehicle.
At 1:20 p.m. UMPD took a report of a domestic disturbance at Estabrooke Hall. Upon investigation, officers determined there was no assault and the parties were separated.
At 3:40 p.m. officers received another report of a burglary to a motor vehicle on Connecticut Street.
At 7:30 p.m. UMPD took a theft report from the CCA. Someone stated that their iPhone was taken from their backpack.
