At 2 a.m. the University of Maine Police Department (UMPD) received a report via Campus Eyes that described an intoxicated person smashing things in the third-floor bathroom of one of the residence halls. When officers arrived, they found four people being loud and gave them a warning.
At 5 a.m. officers responded to a loud noise complaint in Estabrooke Hall. When UMPD arrived, there were no loud noises.
At 6 a.m. UMPD responded to the intersection of Munson Hall and Aubert Hall after a car hit a tree. The individual driving was charged with driving under the influence, but they were not injured.

At 12:53 p.m. officers arrived at the Hilltop Lot after a student hit a vehicle. There were no injuries.
At 5 p.m. UMPD received a report of an alarm going off in the Class of 1944 Hall. The alarm was reset.

At 9 a.m. UMPD arrived at the University of Maine Bookstore after an individual stole a chapstick. The person was caught and immediately admitted to the theft. The individual was referred to student conduct after they paid for the item.
At 11:15 a.m. officers received a property damage report in the Collins Center for the Arts.
At 2:19 a.m. UMPD responded to Fogler Library after an alarm was accidentally set off.
At 3:36 p.m. a student reported that someone contacted them to deposit a check into a bank account.
At 9:00 p.m. UMPD arrived to Knox Hall to follow up on a vehicle accident. The two people involved in the accident were arguing, and officers instructed them to leave each other alone.
03/08
At 9 a.m. UMPD and the Orono Fire Department responded to the intersection of University Park and Massachusetts Avenue for a fire alarm, but there was no fire.
At 12:23 p.m. officers and the University Volunteer Ambulance Corps (UVAC) arrived at Oxford Hall for an individual having breathing problems. They were transported to St. Joseph Hospital.
At 1 p.m. UMPD received a call from Deering Hall that a camera had been taken. There are no suspects at this time.
At 6:30 p.m. officers responded to the Steam Plant lot for a 911 call from the emergency phone. However, the parking lot was packed with people leaving the hockey game, and officers could not find the person who made the phone call.
At 9:28 p.m. UMPD arrived at the Alfond Hall after a student pulled the fire alarm. The investigation is ongoing.
At 11:27 p.m. officers responded to the Phi Beta Kappa house on College Avenue for a fire alarm. There were no signs of smoke, and everyone was evacuated.
